McDonalds has Shamrock Shakes now

As i was sitting in one of Ogdensburg's finest establishments tonight, i realized the one form of buisness that seems to fuel all small town economies. BARS. Ogdensburgh has 13 alone. That is just amazing.

PS. I am wondering if i should cut up a Kerouac book to make a Humument. Do You think i should do it? *I'll use the Subterraneans because i didn't enjoy that one as much as the Dharma Bums*

Sheik Yerbouti.

20 years ago there were many more than 13 - if you can believe it. Is the Other Side/Dark Side still open? You've probably heard the 'how it got its name' story, if not - let me know.

I never liked Shamrock Shakes, but those double cheeseburgers off the dollar menu are becoming a bad habit.

A long story shortened - The Alcohol Nazis closed The Dark Side. We just couldn't have that, so basically, a wall was ripped out and we all entered The Other Side. We all thought it was so simple, clever, and hysterically funny. Every time someone said, "The Other Side" we would laugh harder than the last. The address was different so it was legal (in our blurry eyes, anyway). The only downfall being it was tougher in The Other Side to get a Harley through the entrance and onto the dance floor.

If there weren't 13 bars in that town then there would be nothing to do including drinking.

I bet you could make a Humument without breaking up the book, if you picked the right one (page construction etc). It might be more fun to use a random book, that way the language that "survives" is new to you.
